Noteworthy: Shawmut converted an existing building into a visually pleasing dining and retail space for the gluten-free bakery and cafe. The largely organic baker’s space reflects calm earth tones with terra cotta tiles, Portuguese limestone countertops with chiseled pedestals, and Portola plaster walls with a limewash matte finish.
