What I love about working for Shawmut is the sense of community and the support system that is the backbone of the company. Starting out as a CMST in the workplace, I always felt that I could go to anyone in the company with questions, and that sharing my ideas was not only encouraged, but valued.Meghan Reilly – Project Manager, New York

Recruitment Fraud Alert

Fraudulent recruitment scams are on the rise and are intended to trick applicants into revealing personal or financial information. By making you aware of this, we hope to prevent unsuspecting individuals from falling victim.

What is Recruitment Fraud?

Recruitment fraud is a sophisticated scheme that is typically done through online services such as false websites, or through fake emails from someone claiming to be from the company. It may include company logos and often entails fraudulent job descriptions. They often request recipients to provide personal information and to make payments as part of their fake recruiting process.

How to Identify Recruitment Fraud?

1. All Shawmut applicants should only apply for jobs through https://www.shawmut.com.

2. Email correspondence from Shawmut recruiters or employees will come only from an “@shawmut.com” email account. There are no variations of these email addresses.

3. Shawmut does not request any type of payment from a candidate during the recruiting or hiring process.

If you believe you have been a victim of a recruitment fraud scam, you are advised to contact the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (iC3) and provide any details you may have.
