Noteworthy: The New York Liberty's locker room renovation was conceptualized and completed by women, for women. A design-build collaboration between women-led teams from Generator Studio and Shawmut, the completely redesigned space includes new lockers, players’ lounge, new operating systems, and a sleek shower and bathroom layout with extended space for dressing and makeup mirrors. Operationalizing diversity, equity, and inclusion, Shawmut delivered on its commitment to use 100% UBE external subcontractors.
