Shawmut held its ninth annual Broken Resolutions party on Thursday January 23 to celebrate the firm’s record revenue year and new leadership team. The highly sought-after industry event hosted 200 of the firm’s retail, hospitality and academic clients and partners at Chef Thomas Keller’s TAK Room. Guests received an exclusive look at both the front and back of house in the new Shawmut-built restaurant located in Hudson Yards.
The event comes just after Shawmut announced a record $1.5 billion in revenue for 2019 and new leadership structure with veteran executive, David Margolius stepping in to lead the firm’s New York region. With this new role in place, Shawmut is projecting 2020 year-over-year double-digit growth for the New York Metro region. The firm is projecting growth across all sectors as it will double its Luxury Homes business in the region and continue to build a roster of high-profile projects in the Education sector—a business the company is expecting to see triple-digit growth.
“We’re thankful for the opportunity to work with the best clients and partners in the industry to deliver our world-class service,” said Les Hiscoe, CEO of Shawmut. “This event is about bringing them together to close out our best year yet while we prepare for continued growth bolstered by our exceptional leadership team.”
Executives from Tom Ford, Related Companies, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Soho House & Co. were in attendance and joined Shawmut at the annual celebration.
