BOSTON, MA – Shawmut recently celebrated the graduation of 24 members of its Construction Management Skills Training (CMST) program during a ceremony held at the firm’s Boston headquarters.

As an employee-owned company, Shawmut instills its culture of ownership through this special leadership development program for recent college graduates. The three-year, immersive program includes a year each as a project manager, estimator, and superintendent.

The highlight of the evening was a reflection on the graduates and the CMST program offered by Chief Executive Officer Les Hiscoe and Chief of Construction Operations Michael Sanchez. After receiving their graduation certificate, each CMST received a personalized tool box filled with construction tools, field supplies, and leadership tips to assist them as they begin their Shawmut careers.
