Phase three of this second US flagship to begin with installation of signature design elements
HOUSTON, TX—Shawmut Design and Construction has announced it recently began the third and final phase of the new kate spade new york flagship store in Highland Village. The final phase of the project, the second US flagship for the brand, will include installation of the custom interior design that allows the brand to showcase its designer products.
Shawmut is partnering with designer TPG Architecture to complete the interior fit-out of the 6,000 square foot store. The fit-out also entails new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure, structural modifications, and a new storefront. Highlights of the new Highland Village flagship include intricate ceiling details and custom perforated metal panels designed by kate spade new york that will span the top of the storefront. Other features include imported stone and custom-designed finishes. Shawmut is scheduled to complete the entire project in only nine-weeks.

Shawmut recently completed kate spade new york’s first U.S. flagship on Madison Avenue, and also worked on the brand’s Dallas, Chicago, Walt Whitman, and Columbus Avenue, New York locations.
