BOSTON, MA – Randy Shelly, vice president, has been named to SportsBusiness Journal’s inaugural list of Power Players of Design and Development for his creativity, innovation, and execution in changing the way fans experience sports.
Shelly is being recognized among 50 leaders in the sports facility, architecture, design, construction, and development industries for his division’s work at arenas and stadiums nationwide. The Power Players were selected based on influence in the industry, the scope of their work, and how they reimagine the live event experience.

Shawmut’s sports venues division specializes in projects tied to renovations at arenas and stadiums. The firm’s latest work includes concourse renovations at Comerica Park, a Nikon activation zone and Bud Light Party Deck at Citi Field, multi-year phased concession and concourse renovations at TD Garden, and multi-year technology upgrades to all MLB stadiums.
