Collaborating with Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group and Aria Group Architects, Shawmut fit out the 18,000-square-foot Double Eagle Steakhouse, a large-format restaurant that references the group’s Texas heritage, while embracing Boston’s local aesthetic.
The contemporary space located in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay features a central bar, public and private seating for 450 guests, outdoor patio, 5,000-square-foot commercial kitchen, and a glass wine cellar that houses more than 12,500 bottles of wine from all over the world. The restaurant is illuminated by custom fixtures, with finishes including white oak paneling, tile, and marble complemented by bright copper and pewter accents.
Shawmut is currently completing its 17th Del Frisco’s location at the Cambria Hotel in Philadelphia.
